A-Level Results
Congratulations to Berkhamsted Collegiate’s students who did exceptionally well at ‘A’ level this summer, achieving 100% pass rate for the sixth year running. Martin Iacoponi excelled with 6 A grades, Chi Lok Koo and Chris Pang achieved 5 A grades and Thomas Hall, Claire Hobson, Diya Sagar, Elizabeth Stevens and Oliver Wilson all achieved 4 A grades. The following 29 students gained 3 A grades: Andrew Brandt, Christopher Bright, Sam Calderwood, Elizabeth Chan, Chui Chong, Emily Drane, Vanessa Eustace, Emily Fok, Sam Franklin, Luke Harrison, Nick Hunt, Aman Kantaria, Luke Karmali, Andrew Kirk, Elliot Ledger, Charlotte Marchant, Madeleine Moat, James Nation, Amy Nickell, Lucy Rider, Lyndon Ryan, Tom Sayer, Alex Stewart, Sophie Thew, Matthew Turner, Stephanie Wallis, Daniel Wessels, Yi Xia, Sophie Ray.
In the Advanced Extension Awards, 3 Distinctions and 2 Merits were awarded, while in English, Biology and Art 4 students scored in the top 5 marks nationally for AQA Fine Art and 6 others for Photography ‘A’ level. 97% of all the grades achieved were A, B or C, of which 84% were A or B, an increase of 3% on 2007. Such impressive results have secured the students their places at top universities including Oxford and Cambridge.

The new Principal, Mr Steed, inherits a thriving academic Sixth Form that can be very proud of its achievements.”
