1st Xl v Aldenham School 22nd April
We lost both openers cheaply and it was left to Oli Haddock and the middle order to steady the ship. Oli was out for 33, Toby Phillips for 23 and Tom Sambrook made an unbeaten 50. Our running between wickets and shot selection needs to continue to improve if we are to challenge the better teams on the circuit.

Our opening bowlers Chris King and Lyndon Ryan nipped out 3 quick wickets (aided by a fantastic catch by Jack Kilgannon) to reduce Aldenham to 3 for 12. From that point they never really looked like chasing down our total. Charlie Richardson had a very impressive  1^st Xl debut taking a wicket in his first over and a sharp catch in first slip.

We are getting better, although, there is still a lot of work to do.
