Talent for Charity
House fundraising events include auctions of promises, dancing and quizzes, sleep-outs and cake sales, supporting numerous deserving charities. Christmas parcels were sent to Romania, our second Christmas party for local elderly people was held in Deans’ Hall and the third amazing Talent Show entertained packed audiences in aid of the Hospice and our South African link school. February’s Mufti Day raised c. £3,000 for Oxfam and the Easter eggs collection benefited deprived local children.
