Old Berkhamstedian sails around the world

Veteran sailor and Old Berkhamstedian, Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, has finished a gruelling 30,000 miles solo race, as his yacht SAGA Insurance was third to cross the finishing line in the final leg across the Atlantic.  Sir Robin has battled the weather and various technical problems in the six months since the solo round-the-world race began in October, 38 years after his last solo circumnavigation of the globe.
