The 1st XV, captained by Max Dudley, had a strong season, beating Bishop’s Stortford College and Aylesbury GS.   The Biarritz tour last October encouraged good rugby this winter.  Andy Kirk’s 2nd XV won 9 of their 12 games and Steven Wiggill’s U15A XV won 11 of their 16 games, reaching the 3rd round of the Daily Mail U15 Cup, while the 14B, C and D XVs won 14 of their 20 games.

The School was able to field 14 XVs simultaneously this season, a record in the last 20 years.  Congratulations to Ed Jones on selection for Buckinghamshire, Henry Fraser for London and SE 16-Group, Tom Metcalfe, Ben Selwyn and Adam Diplock (Hertfordshire U16), Steven Wiggill and Ross Wilson (Buckinghamshire U15), Max Richardson (Hertfordshire U15), Oliver O’Gorman (Hertfordshire U14) and Lloyd Ellis (Oxfordshire U14).

Highlights this term included U12B team victories over QE Barnet and the U13A and B team victories over Abingdon.  Berkhamsted hosted the U12 and U13 Hertfordshire Sevens and our own Junior Sevens international tournament for over 60 schools and the U18s (girls) Sevens tournament.
