In May, 8 swimmers travelled to Whitgift school in Croydon to compete in the prestigious Bath and Otter Cup.

This gala has taken place every year except during the two World Wars since 1910, with Berkhamsted winning in 1935 for the Boys freestyle relay and 1997 for the girls medley relay.

This year we had a relatively young team of swimmers competing against predominantly sixth formers who travelled from all over England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

The girls Team achieved fast relay times in both the Freestyle and Medley Relays, with particularly good results coming 5^th and 4^th in their heats and 12th out of 39 schools for the Medley relay and 17^th out of 39 schools for the Freestyle relay.

The boys Team achieved fast individual times and a final result of 39^th out of 63 for the Medley Relay and 36^th out of 64 for the Freestyle relay.

Girls Team: Victoria Eaton, Emily Hartwell, India Trusselle and Basia Capstick.

Boys Team:  Paddy Allen, Dacre Capstick, Tommy Sheldrick and Will Wise.
