In order to raise money for the Hospice of St Francis and to showcase the talent of pupils and staff, we put on two very successful evenings on March 2nd and 3rd in Centenary Hall. Over £4,000 was raised and everyone enjoyed the wide range of acts. There was a Year 7 robotic dancer, Year 8 boy and girl bands, solo singers, duets, rock bands, classical pianists and dancers - they were all extremely good and performed beautifully. There were also staff acts including an insane knife juggler,
a very angry middle-aged teenager with angst, a scary R.E department band singing 'Losing my Religion' and a rocket fuelled Rock and Roller to bring the show to a climax. Memorable evenings!
Thanks to all who supported the performances and gave money so generously to their favourite acts - this alone raised nearly £1500. If you missed the evenings, and we're particularly sorry for those who couldn't get in on the last night because we were sold out, we are hoping to bring out a dvd of the performances
