This was a season full of promise and we have learnt a great deal as a team, and from our opponents.  Haberdashers’ Askes were by far the strongest opposition that we faced.  One of their openers scored a magnificent 103 not out to secure a crushing victory.  The one run victory versus UCS was probably the highlight of the season, with James Whipp leading from the front with figures of 3 for 8.  Unfortunately, we then lost two extremely close games, versus Aylesbury GS and Enfield GS, which we should have probably won. Oliver Hopkins and Julian Iacoponi deserve a special mention for their form with the bat and ball throughout the season.
